Mark your calendars! I will be at the Community Bark Coffee Bar and Dog Wash "Grand Opening" event this Friday (May 14th) from 3pm to 6pm doing portraits to benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society. With a minimum donation of $15 you can get a photo of your pet and a 5x7 to be picked up at Community Bark a couple weeks after the event. I will also provide a certificate equal to your donation that can be put toward a custom pet photography session with All Ears Pet Photography at a later date. Community Bark is a GREAT coffee bar / dog wash in Bayside (map it). The event will feature an adoption fair with the Wisconsin Humane Society and local rescues, a microchip clinic, therapy dog screenings, fun dog contests, grooming demonstrations, "Ask the Trainer" with Jen Digate, events for kids and much more. Community Bark will also be announcing a new program to benefit rescue and foster dogs in Wisconsin! On the drink side, there will be the launch of the new Community Bark coffee blend, a delicious Rishi tea tasting, and an exciting Free Coffee FRIDAY on May 14! The Grand Opening events will run Friday, May 14th from 3pm to 6pm and continue on Saturday, May 15th from 11am to 5pm.

Greyhound Pets of America (GPA) Wisconsin will be holding a Wine Tasting fundraiser on Sunday, April 26 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Vino 100 in Wauwatosa, WI. More information can be found here on their site. Greyhound Pets of America (GPA) is a nationwide non-profit, volunteer-supported organization dedicated to the placement of ex-racing Greyhounds in ideal home situations. One of my Silver Session Packages will be up for auction at the event and although I won't be able to make it, I would urge anyone who's interested to support this great organization. Registration information can be found on their site http://www.gpawisconsin.org. Space is limited to 40 people.
Recently I connected with some of the organizers of Milwaukee's Pug Fest and as a way of helping out this great organization I have offered to help photograph the event. Pug Fest will be on May 17th at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex. The event helps raise funds for pug rescue and raise awareness of responsible breeding practices. There will be a parade of rescues, a costume contest and even pug races. It sounds like they put on a great event and I'm really looking forward to being a part of it. If you are planning on attending (and you really should) please find me and say hi. It should be a great time.
I'll be taking photos at the WI Pug Play Group meetup on April 5th at 11:00am. The meetup will be at Minooka Park in the small dog section. I can't wait to meet all the "pugs and their people"! We're hoping for some good weather. If anyone from the group would like to arrange for some one-on-one photo time with their dog please contact me and I'll make sure I get to work with you and your dog on Sunday. Otherwise I'll just hang around and get some pug action shots. If anyone outside of the WI Pug Play Group is going to be at Minooka that day I'll be available for some mini-sessions around 12:30. They will be 10 minute mini-portrait sessions that can be booked for $20. Prints can then be purchased through my website. Contact me if you would like to set something up.
Like aways, 10% of all print order proceeds are donated to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
